Simpler solutions that save time and money

These are some of the benefits of our cantilever racking system:

• Adjustable Cantilever Bar Rack with guided Raymond aisles (click for larger view)

  Greatly simplified inventory control, since all loads are visible for inspection, counting or weighing.
• Better access for handling equipment. This saves time and money, and moves incoming or out-moving loads out of the way of other operations.
• Cantilever racking permits a logical arrangement of stock by size and shape, or by part number or end-use.
• Cantilever racking also helps utilize the building cube to the utmost, because side-loading trucks and stacker cranes require very little aisle and can stack to 30' or higher.
• Pans or skids can be used with cantilever racks to hold small bars, tubing, pipe, etc. A few pieces may be manually removed from the pan or skid for shipment or for use, or the load can be removed from the rack by sideloader for selection of items from it.

Automated Vertical Storage Systems are designed for management, collection and quick retrieval of any product. Current applications include part storage and retrieval for maintenance offices, and organization of inventory remnants for additional profits through sale to customers.

Metal Center Systems also supplies roll-out and crank-out sheet and bar racks used for loading and unloading by 1 or 2-hook overhead cranes. These racks are designed for heavy load applications where inventory turnaround is relatively quick and space is limited. Common installations are storage of 20' through 40' long products serviced by overhead crane or sheet products stored near shears or lasers.
